Migrant Sounds EPK 2026

Migrant Sounds is a Berlin-based music project founded by Guatemalan guitarist José Carlos Mayorga. Its five permanent members have roots in Latin America and perform with guest artists from around the world. Their music draws on Latin American, African, Middle Eastern and European traditions. The project grew out of José Carlos’s work with ARTivisten e.V., which gives international artists a stage in Berlin. José Carlos, Isabella Bejarano Montes de Oca, Pablo Gómez, Luis “Gato” Lincheo and Greco Acuña bring guitar, voice and percussion to a line-up that stays open to guests. Each collaboration brings different musicians and sounds to the stage.
